Ashby & Graff® Brand Guidelines

Ashby & Graff Logo

The Ashby & Graff logo can only be used if you have an existing partnership or sponsorship and you’ve reached out to your Ashby & Graff contact to secure formal approval. Current Ashby & Graff Sales Associates and Brokers have automatic approval to use the Ashby & Graff logo in accordance with these guidelines.

The logo must never be used in a way that implies an endorsement or affiliation with Ashby & Graff where such a relationship does not exist.


Use the appropriate colors

We’ll usually ask you to use the black & white version of our logo. The white version is also acceptable when there are constraints.

Don't modify the logo

Don’t modify or distort the logo, change any colors, or add additional elements.


Adhere to proper clear space

The amount of clear space around our logo should be equal to or greater than half the total length of the logo.


Don’t overcrowd things

Don’t crowd the logo with images, text, or other graphics that compromise its impact.

You may use the Ashby & Graff name in plain text to indicate your affiliation with or sponsorship by Ashby & Graff.

However, all references must be honest and accurate, and you can’t incorporate these names into your own name or imply an endorsement by Ashby & Graff. Read our full trademark rules and terms below for more information.

Rules for Proper Usage

When you use any of our Brand Features, you must always follow our “Rules for Proper Usage” below.

If Ashby & Graff provides written requirements (size, typeface, colors, etc.) to you at the time of our approval, you must implement them before using our Brand Features. If we provide these requirements to you after we initially gave our permission, you must implement them within a commercially reasonable timeframe.

Ashby & Graff Trademark "Do's":

  • Distinguish the trademark from the surrounding text in some way. Capitalize the first letter, capitalize or italicize the entire mark, place the mark in quotes, use a different type style or font for the mark.
  • Spell and capitalize the trademark exactly as they are shown.
  • Use only Ashby & Graff-approved artwork when using Ashby & Graff logos.
  • Maintain a minimum spacing of 25 pixels between each side of the logo and other graphic or textual elements on your web page.

Ashby & Graff Brand Feature "Don'ts":

  • Don’t remove, distort or alter any element of an Ashby & Graff Brand Feature. That includes modifying an Ashby & Graff trademark, for example, through hyphenation, combination or abbreviation, such as: Ashbygraffology, AhhshbyGraffmania. Do not shorten, abbreviate, or create acronyms out of Ashby & Graff trademarks.
  • Don’t display an Ashby & Graff Brand Feature on any website that contains or displays adult content, promotes gambling, involves the sale of tobacco or alcohol to persons under twenty-one years of age, or otherwise violates applicable law.
  • Don’t display an Ashby & Graff Brand Feature in a manner that is in Ashby & Graff’s sole opinion misleading, unfair, defamatory, infringing, libelous, disparaging, obscene or otherwise objectionable to Ashby & Graff (this is in no way meant to discourage criticism, opinion, or commentary).
  • Don’t frame or mirror any Ashby & Graff website or page (including the page that appears in response to a click on the Ashby & Graff logo).
  • Don’t incorporate Ashby & Graff Brand Features into your own product name, service names, trademarks, logos, or company names.
  • Don’t adopt marks, logos, slogans, or designs that are confusingly similar to Ashby & Graff Brand Features.
  • Don’t use or register Ashby & Graff trademarks as or incorporated in any email account names, social media account names, profiles,  screen names or monikers.
  • Don’t register Ashby & Graff trademarks domain names.
  • Don’t use Ashby & Graff trademarks in a way that suggests a common, descriptive, or generic meaning.
  • Don’t use the registration symbol (®) in connection with marks in countries where our marks have not been registered. Trademark rights vary from country to country.
